Journey CD Release

The choice of fonts and the blending options use on them gives this a very amateur look I'm afraid.

Try finding some simpler, less overused fonts (Bleeding Cowboys, the one at the top, is literally seen on every other amateur band logo or CD cover!) and use them wisely. Using preamde 'grundge' fonts like you've used can look lazy and cheap, and does funny things when you try and use layer FX like stroke (look at all the yellow dots around 'March 2011'.

Don't fiddle with the aspect ratio on text unless you're going for a particular look - If you want a bit of text to fit a wider space, increase the spacing between letters for a more dramatic and balanced effect.
